Role:
The Nurse Practitioner provides care appropriate to the patient population served, including routine health maintenance, management of chronic conditions, and management of acute illness for patients. Position is full time and hours may include evening shifts and Saturday rotation based on clinic needs.

The Daniel Driscoll-Neponset Health Center in Boston and a division of Harbor Health Services Inc. is seeking a Medical Director. The Medical Director will provide leadership to the clinical staff as well as maintain a clinical practice of 24 hours weekly.
Duties include recruiting, supervising and evaluating all primary care providers and specialists, process improvement focused on clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management and patient scheduling, assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of quality improvement and compliance efforts, budgeting and strategic planning. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide administrative oversight and direction for the clinical, operational and educational functions of our health centers. The Director will have a highly visible role in practice transformation and implementation of a medical home model and be a leader in healthcare delivery innovation.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
