Summary

Our clinical teams are comprised of family physicians, internists, pediatricians and advanced practitioners working in tandem with other clinical and support staff to provide quality care. We also have medical interpreters on site and utilize telephonic interpreters as needed.
Full-time physicians are scheduled for eight clinical sessions and two administrative sessions each week.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care to patients within an assigned outpatient primary care and/or school-based health center location. Coordinates care of patients under the supervision of a Board Certified physician. Acts as a member of the clinical team and works collaboratively with other team members in providing patient care. Follows evidenced-based approaches. Engages in health center projects and quality improvement, and utilizes effective and appropriate communication strategies when working with patients and colleagues.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements:
Frequently sitting, standing, and walking during clinical day. Required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Routinely involves exposure to blood, bodily fluids or tissues. Routinely involves exposure to patients that may potentially carry an air-borne pathogen.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
