Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice

1. This position serves as Pediatrician for NATIVE HEALTH. The Pediatrician provides health assessment and direct care to pediatric patients as part of the provider team providing services directly to the Chief Medical Officer. Provides comprehensive primary patient care including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and follow-up services to patients under his/her care within the scope of pediatric medicine.
2. Documents all patient-provider interactions following health care standards.
3. Participates as an active member of an integrated patient centered team.
4. Provides oversight of Physician Assistants.
5. Provides Provider oversight of the Vaccine for Children’s Program across all Native Health Locations.
6. Supports the organization as need.

The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions and emphasize health promotion and disease prevention. Their services include, but are not limited to ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests; prescribing pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic therapies; and teaching and counseling. They practice autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to manage patients’ health needs.

This position serves as Family Practice Physician for NATIVE HEALTH. This position is responsible for the delivery of family oriented medical care services as well as providing general professional guidance of primary care staff. Work performance is reviewed for conformance to policies, procedures and practices related to integrated family health care delivery.

The Bilingual Independent Licensed Counselor is an integral part of a multidisciplinary patient care team, providing outpatient therapeutic counseling services to patients. This role delivers direct counseling focused on general mental health and substance use to individuals, families, and groups. Work performance is evaluated for adherence to established policies, procedures, and best practices related to behavioral health service delivery. The position reports directly to the Behavioral Health Coordinator at the assigned service site.
