Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Medicine care team. This role provides comprehensive primary care services, managing common acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan.
The PA functions as an interdependent member of the healthcare team through direct patient care, consultation, collaboration, coordination, and referral. Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment. Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award (up to $37,500). Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
What that's worth here: a provider carrying a $100,000 balance who takes this role and serves the initial two-year commitment would be debt-free in roughly 10 years — the NHSC award first, then PSLF forgiveness of the remainder (FQHCs are qualifying PSLF employers).
