The location -

Copper Center, with a population of about 370 people, has long, cold winters and relatively warm summers. There are 3500 people in the valley. You can reach Anchorage via roadway. Anchorage is a 3.5 hour drive. Fairbanks is also Accessible by road, it's approximately 4 hours.

CRNA is a Tribal Health Organization established through six compacted Ahtna Villages; Cantwell, Gakona, Gulkana, Kluti-Kaah, Mentasta and Tazlina. The position -

Full time
Outpatient primary care is the majority of the patients
Urgent/emergent walk in patients a part of your day (need experience with this)
Monday - Friday
8:30 - 5:30pm
Seeing all ages of patients
Approximately 10 - 12 patients per day
Working with a great support staff (MA's, RN's and EMT's)
Working with other NP's/PA's
Medical Director always available by phone
Emergency Medicine support always available through Telehealth physician in Anchorage
No Call
EMR - Sterner

Compensation and benefits -

Salary range of $160,000 - $175,000

NHSC Loan Repayment: This position is at a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. Base salary: $160,000 - $175,000/yr. Providers here may qualify for up to $75,000 in tax-free federal student-loan repayment over a 2-year full-time commitment — a total potential first-two-years package of up to $445,000 ($370,000 in base salary over two years up to $75,000 in loan repayment). Award amounts depend on the annual application cycle and your eligibility.
