What You Will Do:
You will provide full scope midwifery care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This includes supporting women and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing antepartum, labor, birth, and postpartum care to low and moderate risk obstetrical patients
- Managing labors, admitting patients, and supporting physiologic birth
- Triaging and evaluating patients in clinic, hospital settings, and by phone
- Promoting preventive care, reproductive health, gynecologic care, and family centered education
Schedule and Practice Model:
- Clinic schedule with eight-hour clinic days
- Twelve-hour call shifts at Presbyterian Hospital with days and nights shared evenly across the team
- A supportive team that includes CNMs, APCs, and physicians
- A midwife led practice with physician backup available when needed
What We Are Looking For:
We would love to meet you if you are:
- A graduate of an ACNM accredited midwifery program with a master’s degree
- A Certified Nurse Midwife with two years of experience preferred
- Passionate about full scope midwifery and patient centered care
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Able to obtain licensure in the state of New Mexico
