Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in the delivery of comprehensive health and health maintenance to patients in ambulatory settings. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides outpatient comprehensive primary care service including: preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
