Aviva Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Core Faculty Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Roseburg, OR. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
This position provides primary health care, in a primary health care clinic, serving the low-income, working poor, homeless, and those individuals with barriers to health care, in Douglas County. Utilizes skills in providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems including, curative and preventive medical care, health promotion and education, continuing case evaluation and management. Ensures efficient and effective patient care through collaborative planning and problem-solving with Advanced Practice Providers, clinic staff, and volunteers. Acts as consultant for and provides guidance for Advanced Practice Providers regarding clinical practice issues.

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Designated Medical Provider functions as the Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (P-SANE) or Designated Medical Provider to provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate medical-forensic care to pediatric patients who are victims or suspected victims of sexual assault or abuse.
This on-call, casual position plays a critical role within the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) multidisciplinary team (MDT), working collaboratively with the Patient Advocate and Forensic Interviewer to ensure compassionate, coordinated, and legally sound care that prioritizes the child’s physical and emotional well-being
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Medical-Forensic Care
- Perform pediatric sexual assault medical-forensic examinations (P-SANE exams) in accordance with national best practices, CAC standards, and state/federal guidelines.
- Provide trauma-informed, child-centered medical care tailored to the patient’s developmental level and clinical needs.
- Obtain relevant medical history and conduct thorough, age-appropriate physical examinations.
- Collect, preserve, and document forensic evidence when indicated, maintaining strict chain of custody.

The Pharmacist is responsible for pharmacy management including full-service daily functions of the pharmacy
ensuring proper preparation, review, verification, and dispensation of prescribed medication. The pharmacist
provides a positive customer service experience in accordance with the organization’s mission. The pharmacist will
support efficient workflows in receiving and dispensing medications and inventory. The pharmacist will oversee and
direct the pharmacy technician staff and provide education to patients to enhance the customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Guides leadership on running a pharmacy in the Roseburg clinic as well as ability to dispense to outlying Aviva Health clinics
- Works collaboratively with the 340B Program Manager to oversee the 340B program
- Works with multidisciplinary health care team to provide drug information and assist in monitoring patient drug therapies
- Works with Aviva Health leadership and staff to optimize pharmacy operations and to achieve the goals, objectives, and budget established by Aviva Health’s Board of Directors
